Rylee & Andrew

JUNE 10th,
Firstly, I would like to say thank you. Your encouraging and thoughtful notes from last week's post have blessed me and left me feeling so loved and understood. I have been humbled and overwhelmed reading your similar struggles and triumphs. Each comment and email is cherished , leaving me so thankful for you, my little community of dear friends. From my very full heart I thank you.

My beautiful and unmeasurably gifted friend Rylee may not be a stranger to you. Her photography work has graced many of us with its dreamy, ethereal like presence. At such a young age she has mastered a signature style of film photography that is unique and unparalleled. What makes her work so magnificent is the fact that she too is equally as beautiful and graceful. She has a sweet innocence and selflessness about her that I sometimes struggle to find within myself. Her smile is infectious, her character is above reproach and her craft is captivating.
A few months ago I had the utmost pleasure of being a part of Rylee and Andrew's gorgeously creative wedding. Sweet Rylee gave me the honor of making the wedding dessert, and I would be remiss if I did not share these beautiful moments with you, taken by the talented and ever so dapper Tec Petaja.
Rylee you are a most treasured friend and inspiration. To be a part of your special day, seeing how calm and peaceful you were, watching you cry with your father all the way down the aisle and then dance the night away in the rain barefoot and swollen with content blessed me and made me ever so thankful to know you. I wish you and Andrew many years of joy and a house full of beautiful babies ;)!
